Brilliant pale green colour.
Clean, fresh and delicately fragrant this wine absolutely screams Polish Hill River. The fragrant lime and grapefruit overlaying the stony/slatey aromatics is so typical of what this sub-region delivers in top years.
The palate is crisp, delicate and again, as with the Learnings, has flecks of talc-like texture on the finish adding interest and texture. Spine tingling acidity adds to the drive and length of the beautiful citrus fruit and slatey characters.
Such a lovely wine and I think it is up there with the best wines I have produced. Drink now or keep safe for 5-7 years.
